2024-2025 Aggregate Certification Course Book

All certification course attendees must bring their own copy of the following test methods:

  • AASHTO T 84 Standard Method of Test for Specific Gravity and Absorption of Fine Aggregate
  • AASHTO T 85 Standard Method of Test for Specific Gravity and Absorption of Coarse Aggregate

Bringing a copy of these methods to the course is the responsibility of the attendee. These methods will not be provided by course instructors or NECEPT.  

Retest Information

  • Applicants are allowed to retest twice before they are required to complete the Aggregate certification course again. 
  • Retests must take place no sooner than 30 days after the original test date and must be completed no later than 4 months after the original test date. 
  • After registration is complete, NECEPT will send a confirmation email to the applicant which will include the PennDOT representative's contact information. It is the applicant's responsibility to contact the instructor to schedule the retest.

After you submit your Aggregate Certification Renewal Online Registration, submit your completed PennDOT Sign-Off Sheet signed by a DMM/DME - This is also required to complete  your Aggregate Certification Card Renewal application. Please email a copy to superpave@psu.edu.
